Repairing your hair

For anyone who's ever bleached, coloured, chemically or heat treated their hair. I recommend you to start with a hair repairing regime at home at least once a week to 2x a month.

I highly recommend you guys try out Kpak by Joico. It is a product that has won many awards and I can back it up as it is a product I use regularly on myself as well.

I used to always scalp bleach my hair and regularly used this product on myself to prevent breakage and to keep it healthy.

It's a 4 step treatment. Comes with a chelating shampoo which is a clarifying shampoo which cleanses your hair thoroughly so you can continue with your next step, which is a cuticle sealer (leave this in for a few minutes up to 5) this neutralises your hair and preps it for the treatment. Next step is the Reconstructor which is the protein treatment which you can leave in for 3-5 minutes, rinse off and following it up with the hydrator which is a moisturising treatment that is to be left in the hair for 3-5 minutes. Sometimes if I have time I will leave the reconstructor and hydrator in for a bit longer.

Afterwards just rinse off, towel dry and apply serum and leave-in conditioner.

For damaged hair, do this treatment once a week religiously.

If your hair is relatively healthy with some split ends here and there and you regularly use heat on it, then you can consider doing this treatment every 2 weeks.
